Understanding the principles of power and privilege is the first step in developing healthier relationships, both at work and in the world at large.
As part of Career Recharge’s Diversity & Inclusion series, this workshop explores the theory behind power and privilege, its role in creating healthy professional relationships, and key tools you can use to create a stronger work environment – led by facilitator Rema Tavares, Seneca’s Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.
About the Facilitator:
Rema Tavares is the Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at Seneca. She has worked in this field for more than 10 years and has been invited to speak at Ontario Public Services, CBC Radio Metro Morning, CTV Canada AM, CBC News The National, the University of Toronto, York University Centre for Human Rights, Humber College and more about issues surrounding critical race theory and intersectionality.
Career Recharge is pleased to offer a digital certificate of completion for individuals who attend all five virtual workshops in our Diversity & Inclusion series. Note: You must log into all workshops using the same email address in order to track participation. Certificates will be distributed in May.
